from looking at your forum thread,and then the landscapes you posted a link to, he said that they were created with tutorials from Dylan Cole. Which probably explains the resemblance.

and as dylan cole made video tutorials he probably took screenshots from different sections than the samples that are shown so he can say that they are different..
we'll have to see.
